With warmer weather here and fresh produce in season, there is nothing like a fresh salad. I have been enjoying these make-ahead mason jar salads for meal prep and easy on the go healthy eating.
I usually prep them for the week on Sunday and they have lasted me until Friday! I also love to take them to the beach for a healthy lunch!
Here is how you can stack your salad up from the bottom up to make sure it stays fresh for you:
Dressing (2-4T)
Hard Veggies (Carrots, Celery, Cucumbers, etc)
Soft Veggies (Tomato, Corn, Avocado, etc)
Protein (Cheese, Meat, Eggs, Beans, etc)
Greens (Lettuce, Spinach, Arugula, etc)
Nuts + Seeds (Hemp, Sunflower, etc)
